Our Story

Ráán Ánnim / Hello!

A vintage typewriter, a globe, and a classic phone arranged on a wooden table, evoking a nostalgic atmosphere.

ChuukLink was founded to bridge language and cultural gaps between Chuukese- speaking communities and the vital services they rely on. We understand the unique needs of Limited English Proficient (LEP) families and individuals, and we are committed to helping them access accurate, respectful, and confidential communication in healthcare, education, and public service environments.

With over four years of professional experience in remote interpreting and translation, our founder, Jake Nakamura, has provided services for hospitals, clinics, school systems, legal professionals, and family services agencies nationwide. Trained by leading industry providers, Jake brings not only linguistic fluency but also deep cultural understanding to every interaction.
